Our Benefits Package

NJC aim to be an Employer of Choice.

We see benefits packages as a critical component of our employer of choice strategy, and our commitment to Investors in People credentials. We are committed to establishing NJC as a progressive employer with whom talented candidates wish to work and as such, we are constantly reviewing our benefits packages.

Our fundamental principle is that we need to be a proactive, flexible and considerate employer and we continually challenge ourselves to ensure that we operate with those formal policies and procedures which would demonstrate this on an objective basis.

The existing package, which is subject to continuous improvement is listed below:

Employee Support - We have a range of employee benefits predicated upon salary sacrifice and employer support principles.  We are continually working on enhancing these type of benefits.  

Holiday Entitlement – All staff are entitled to statutory annual leave entitlement of 20 days plus 8 Bank Holidays.

Health Care – Healthcare benefit packages are currently established on an individual by individual basis.

Pension Scheme – For all frontline employees we will automatically enrol you into our work place pension scheme via NEST.

Maternity/Paternity/Parental Leave – Maternity/Paternity/Parental Leave and pay is in accordance with current statutory provisions.

Sickness Pay - For all frontline staff sickness pay is in accordance with current statutory provisions and we have a contractual sick/injury pay scheme which, on completion of a qualifying period, provides payment during periods of certificated sickness.

Employee Referral Scheme The Employee Referal program was developed to provide an incentive award to a current employee who refers quality candidates who are subsequently hired for designated open positions.

Childcare Vouchers NJC is pleased to advise that it offers Childcare Vouchers to its employees.  The Childcare Voucher scheme is a fantastic money-saving solution to help working parents save money on their childcare costs.

Everyday Discounts  - NJC Benefits offer a variety of benefits to save you money on many High Street Retailers, Holidays, Cinema tickets, Restaurants and much more.  

Personal Group Hospital Plan - The Personal Group Hospital Plan makes a cash payment to you if you are in hospital overnight - anywhere in the world.   (Plan terms, conditions and exclusions available upon request)

Personal Group Death Benefit Plan - Features include; cover for you, your partner and children, choice of benefit levels, accidental death cover.  (Plan terms, conditions and exclusions available upon request)

Employee Assistance Helpline - You will have the benefit of immediate access to a confidential telephone counselling and legal information service that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Health Club Membership - Your health and wellbeing is important to us.  Therefore, we have partnered up with Incorpore to provide you with easy access to gyms around the country to help you keep fit.

For staff at all levels of our business, we are committed to ensuring that we offer attractive, sustainable employment and all benefits packages are subject to constant review, as part of our continuous improvement process, supported by external benchmarking processes. Please note that some of the benefits available are subject to minimum earnings.  You must also have passed your probationery period with the company in order to take advantage of some of the benefits.  Any eligibility criteria will be explained to you upon application.
