NJC (Not Just Cleaning Ltd) has received a prestigious award in recognition of its occupational health and safety practices.
NJC has achieved a Silver in the Achievement Award category of the prestigious annual scheme run by the accident prevention charity, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The award will be presented during a ceremony at ExCeL, London on 19th June 2018. The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels.
Paul Crilly, Managing Director NJC commented: “This is the first time that NJC has entered the RoSPA Awards and we are delighted to have received a Silver. We are committed to continuous improvement and have learnt a lot through the process, so we will be aiming for gold next year.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.”
