Launch Night at NJC

At NJC we recognise that It is vital that NJC invest in skills and development programmes for all colleagues at all levels of our business, in order that we can consistently meet and exceed customer expectations. As part of our wider commitment, a new initiative has been set up to identify and support the next generation of charismatic, driven and ambitious leaders, all of whom will need to possess natural communication and leadership skills.

This is called the NJC Future Leaders programme.

Winning Picture for NJC Mint Competition

Congratulations to Mr Alvaro Yurrita Avalos on winning the NJC Mint Competition.   The name of the statue is El Quijote De la Mancha and was taken at Alcala De Henares near Madrid. A meal for two voucher is on its way.

Mencap Step Up Challenge

Well done to Agne Salciunaite and Inga Rutkauskiene of NJC who took part in Mencap’s Step Up event on Sunday 17th July 2016.  It is a vertical challenge – in other words a thigh-burning, heart-racing, legs-aching dash up 36 floors to the top of London’s Walkie Talkie building.  

NJC Specialist Cleaning Team working together

The NJC Specialist Cleaning Team working together with NJC colleagues from across our business. The project involved cleaning over 1200 student rooms, together with bathrooms and kitchen deep cleans to very tight timescales with exacting completions standards. The task was completed on time to allow summer students to move into the accommodation. The customer commented, “...these are the highest standards we have ever achieved and was delivered through an exceptional team performance with great team spirit. Well done Geoff and team”.

Why did we decide to rebrand and why now?

 After more than 30 years of incredible accomplishments and milestones, NJC is embarking on the next chapter of its evolution. We recognised there was an opportunity to ensure that our overall positioning, as well as our look and feel, better showcased our broad portfolio of services, sectors and customer groups. Subsequently, after careful, thorough and strategic dialogue with many stakeholders, and ultimately our board, we began the rebranding process.

NJC Janitor wins Green Park Colleague of the Month

David Hannah (NJC) was awarded the Green Park Colleague of the Month for February 2016 for his weekend work in assisting with the conference centre, setting up for and cleaning after the church group.

Time and Attendance

All permanent site based staff and cover staff can clock in and out of their place of work using a simple fingerprint scanner connected to a web enabled pc terminal. The time and attendance information is recorded and available to view on the AMONET web portal providing complete transparency of NJC’s labour resources provided for the contract.
