Connie Heppelthwaite founded NJC in 1984. And as the facilities management (FM) sector evolved, so NJC’s service portfolio evolved to offer a broad range of integrated FM services to help ambitious organisations save money, time, and effort, as well as to thrive.
Nearly 40 years later, NJC is still family-owned and run, with the company’s family tree seeing three generations of Heppelthwaites working to take the business forward. In fact, when Connie Heppelthwaite founded the company, she understood providing great service meant recruiting great colleagues. So attracting, and investing in top-calibre people will always be a business imperative for NJC – for example, our Operations Director, Wayne Smith. He started with us as a window cleaner and 22 years later is now a board member.
