Environment & Sustainability
As a business, we’re focused on minimising our impact on the environment. Not just by using more sustainable products and developing more sustainable services, but by creating more sustainable and ethical operations – including in our supply chain.
Adding value to your business
The more sustainable we become, the more sustainable our customers can be too. Supporting our clients' environmental and sustainability ambitions is one of the ways we measure success, helping them reduce environmental impact and address their own Scope 3 emissions challenges through responsible service delivery.
Sustainability is embedded throughout the way we operate. From reducing waste and supporting circular economy initiatives to improving resource efficiency and responsible procurement, we continually look for opportunities to minimise environmental impact while delivering exceptional service outcomes.
We carefully select equipment, products and suppliers that align with our sustainability objectives, prioritising solutions that reduce waste, conserve resources and minimise the use of hazardous substances wherever possible. Through the continued expansion of COSHH-free cleaning solutions, innovative technologies and closed-loop recycling initiatives, we help create safer, healthier and more sustainable workplaces for our clients and their occupiers.
Our commitment to climate action is underpinned by annual carbon footprint measurement, transparent reporting and clear emissions reduction targets. Through our Climate Action Plan and Carbon Reduction Plan, we have established a pathway to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, focusing on reducing emissions across our operations and supply chain while supporting the global ambition to limit warming to 1.5°C.
We believe meaningful environmental progress requires action, accountability and transparency. That is why our sustainability commitments are supported by measurable objectives, independently verified carbon reporting and strong leadership oversight, ensuring we continue to deliver positive environmental outcomes for our clients, communities and the wider environment.
Supporting your sustainability goals
Until now, the global economy has largely depended on a linear ‘make-use-dispose’ system in which valuable natural resources are extracted and turned into products, which are discarded at the end of their service life. As the damaging consequences of this become glaringly apparent, particularly with respect to single-use plastics, we need to urgently rethink.
